Guide To Using PokerRNG
6.0
PokerRNG 6.0 was
designed with ease of use as a top priority and has been fine tuned
to include users suggestions to make it even better. This area will
provide you with everything that you need to know in order to use
PokerRNG 6.0 successfully.
This guide includes
instructions for PokerRNG version 6.0 as a whole including the 6.1
sub version update.
Upgrading to PokerRNG 6.0
If you have purchased an
earlier version of PokerRNG from the official PokerRNG.com web site
you are entitled to a free upgrade of 6.0. You will need to lookup
your access codes for 6.0 as this information has been updated. If
you have any old access id information it will not work with 6.0.
You can lookup your
account information by visiting this form here:
http://www.pokerrng.com/site2/forgot_login.php
If you have changed your
e-mail address or if the e-mail you used when purchasing your
previous version is no longer accessible to you then you will need
to contact support to track down your login and update your e-mail.
If you still have the same e-mail enter into that form on the link
above and your access codes will be sent over to your registered
e-mail.
Installing PokerRNG 6.0
To download the setup
files for version 6.1.0 you can either request the download link
from our site at the Download PokerRNG 6.0 button above or by
logging into the members area (if you are a member) and downloading
the newest update from there.
The setup file will have
the filename of setup_rng_610.exe or if a new version is out it will
reflect a similar file name. Double click this file and the setup
will load. It is very easy to install, simply follow the on-screen
displays, read the information and click Next or Finish at the end.
Once the PokerRNG 6.0
software is installed you should see a desktop icon that says
PokerRNG v6. To launch the software click this icon. If there is no
desktop icon you can find a shortcut to PokerRNG 6.0 on your start
menu, choose Programs and scroll down to PokerRNG.
Logging into PokerRNG 6.0
The login process is
very straight forward and only requires your access id and your
member id. Please note that when you login to PokerRNG 6.0 for the
first time the software will send your computer id to our login
server. This means that you will only be able to use your PokerRNG
6.0 license on that specific computer system. Be sure to install and
login only on the computer that you want to use the software on. If
by chance you have already installed the software on a laptop and
now you want it on your desktop you can have your login reset which
will lift the computer id from our system and then you can install
and login from another computer. This reset process is only allowed
to be used once per 7 day period so make sure it's the computer you
want to have it installed on.
To login enter your
access id and member id into the proper forms on the login screen.
Make sure you do not have your member id mixed up with access id as
this is a common mistake that will bring up a message telling you
your ID's are wrong.
Once you have your ID's
entered simply click Login and if your information is correct you
will have access to the software.
Choosing your Poker Room
Upon logging in you will
see a screen asking you to choose your poker room. At this time if
your poker room is not already loaded you should load it now. Click
on the poker room you'd like to use and then click OK. The PokerRNG
6.0 main screen will now load.
Using Manual Mode Tracking
If your poker room is
only supported with Manual Tracking in PokerRNG 6.0 you will need to
input card values from your poker table. You can only use 1 poker
table with PokerRNG so be sure not to enter in values from multiple
tables.
Once the main PokerRNG
screen loads you will need to enter in your hole cards minus the
suit for the current hand. If you are not yet seated you can take a
seat and then enter in your hole cards once they appear for you. If
you just want to watch the table enter in "A A" for your hole cards.
Entering in "A A" for your hole cards every hand will allow the
software to only record community card values and is a way to be
able to see RNG Results without sitting at the table.
So if you are actually
playing you can enter in your hole cards when you are dealt in or if
you are just watching you can simply enter in "A A" for every hand
as your hole cards. After your hole cards are entered in next you
enter in the flop cards minus the suit values then the turn
and the river. If by some chance the flop is never shown due to
everyone folding simply click CL on the Keypad. If only the flop is
entered and the hand ends before the turn and the river that is
fine. If the hole cards are entered along with the flop it is always
acceptable to click OK at this point. The RNG results can be
calculate with at least the hole cards and the flop.
Try to choose a table
where the majority of hands are going to the river. This is very
important for best results. If you are seeing a lot of flops without
the turn and river your accuracy will be lower. If you are not
seeing as many flops and hands are ending early this is another
reason for low accuracy. Also be sure to enter in the card values
correctly. If you enter in a wrong value it isn't the end of the
world but your session results will be lower in accuracy. You should
note that manual tracking is not added into the database. So if you
make a mistake it will not corrupt the global database on a user
wide level. It will only affect your individual session.
Using Automatic Tracking
Automatic tracking does
not require anything more than having everything setup correctly. To
use automatic tracking make sure your video settings are setup for
32 bit color and your DPI settings are set to 96 DPI. You can get to
these settings by going to your Windows Control Panel and choosing
Display. Go into Display and choose Settings. In this settings area
you will see Color Depth options. Make sure this is set to (32-Bit).
Next click Advanced on this same screen. You will see DPI Settings
in this screen make sure this is at 96 DPI.
Once you choose an
automatic tracking site you will see the Table Selector on the right
hand side where the Keypad would be in manual tracking. If you see a
box with "Seat 1" choose your seat number starting from the right of
the dealer counting clockwise to your seat. If there is no seat box
you do not have to enter in your seat position. Now there are 2
buttons labeled Table and Chat. You will need to click and hold down
the left mouse button on the button labeled Table. Drag your cursor
while still holding the left mouse button down over to your poker
tables title bar and then release the left mouse button as the
cursor is over the title bar. Do the same for the Chat button. Click
the left mouse button down while over the Chat button on the
PokerRNG 6.0 window and then drag the cursor so that it is over the
poker tables chat box area and then release the left mouse button.
You should now see the Table and Chat buttons disappear and some
text replaces it showing you the Table ID and Chat ID followed by
some numbers. The numbers represent the actual software ID of these
two objects (Table and Chat area).
Once you complete these
steps PokerRNG will start automatically. It is important that you
are first sitting down at the poker table and are dealt into the
hands. If you do these steps and the software does not start
tracking click the small X in the same area as the Table and Chat
ID's with the trailing numbers (not the main X to exit the
software). This will allow you to re-setup the Table and Chat ID's
and restart the tracker.
From here PokerRNG 6.0
will automatic gather the cards and place them where they should be.
It will automatically calculate all upcoming hands and so on without
requiring any input from you.
